Timeline
An everchanging sequence of events that may or may not have happened.
The First Instant
- Cosmogenesis - An unknown creator makes the universe for unknown reasons. They play no active role in the universe after its creation. Everything that ever was, is, and will be, begins to expand from a single point.
8 seconds after cosmogenesis - An interloper becomes aware of the universe, introducing its own rules to the universe. Fragments of its unknowable mathematics are left behind as it too disappears from the universe. These fragments will later be known as magic.
17 million years after cosmogenesis - The first simple life appears. The concepts of life and death take hold in the universe.
100 million years after cosmogenesis - The first stars form.
Solar magic? Gods are stars?
The initial universe was chaotic, too hostile to life. The gods worked to manipulate the universe, changing fundamental forces and facts about reality to make it more suitable to the life they wanted to inhabit it.
